Harvest

Most vegetables are going very well! I believe my tomatoes have hung on with less disease longer into the season this year. I've got cherry tomatoes, Roma tomatoes, and a couple of slicing tomatoes, all from the in-ground plants. I picked more shishito peppers (but they had turned red). There are a few small peppers in the GS tower, and several small round eggplants I may pick today. 

The middle tower, with micro tomatoes, is not doing well. This is the one that fell over and had to be re-stacked and re-planted. More than half of the plants have died, and the rest are very scrawny. 

The curcurbits are coming along

 

I planted the zucchini, cucumbers and melons only on June 30. I thinned before leaving on vacation, and they are all looking quite vigorous now. Plus, there is a volunteer cucumber when last year's were growing. So looking good, but no fruit and little flowering yet on any of them.

Time to fertilize and spray them.
