Snow and Trees

Even though I had the hazard pruning, many branches down.  Power off - lasted 67 hours and it got down to 42 degrees inside. All this, for only six inches of (very heavy) snow. Many bushes were pushed to the ground, and some are still down, five days later. I think my St Johns Wort in the dog's yard may be snapped off at the ground level. (Happened to several others last year).

Tree Limbs Down

I had my silver maple and white oak "hazard pruned" just a couple of months ago. Despite that, with the heavy wet snow we've got, there are several branches with limbs greater than 4" down in front. This includes one on the roof- it just struck me it has the potential to do more damage coming the rest of the way off. Something to worry about in the daylight.
